VISITING OUR WEBSITES

When you visit our websites and move within the pages, we obtain information on what pages were visited, whether secure sites were accessed and the number of visits to the site. This information is only measured in aggregate and not associated with you individually.

We use this information to assess what is most useful to you to better meet your service requirements. AGF is committed to providing you with the best possible service - the better we know you, the better we can serve you.

WEB SERVER LOG FILES

When you register for our online services, we compile a profile of you for that service. The profile includes account numbers, Log in ID, name and other personal information about you. This personal information is collected in compliance with our Privacy Policy. Each time you use the secure site service, we obtain your Log in ID to identify you as a user of the service in order to safeguard your personal information. We use this information in aggregate to ensure we give you the highest quality of service.

INTERNET SECURITY

AGF takes precautions to protect client information on our websites. In certain areas, AGF uses industry standard SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) encryption to protect data transmissions. While you are in a protected area, the lock icon on a web browser, such as Microsoft Internet Explorer, is locked (as opposed to unlocked, or open). The current level of encryption available in today's Web browsers is 128-bit encryption. AGF currently supports 128-bit encryption on our secure Web site.

COOKIES

AGF uses session cookies to allow you to navigate through the secure site service. A cookie is a small file that is created when you visit the site. It can track how and when you use a site and can store that information about you. A session cookie stores information only for the length of time you are connected to the site. Once you leave the site, AGF does not store the information contained on the cookie.

ONLINE TRANSACTIONS

Whenever you use transaction-based services on our secure site (for example, apply for an investment loan or make account inquiries) we collect personal information from you in accordance with our Privacy Policy. If you withdraw your consent to collect and use the personal information we may not be able to perform the online transaction or be able to provide you with optimal service.
