Executive Chairman

Chief Executive Officer, AGF Management Limited

She is a respected leader in the asset management industry with over 30 years’ experience in a range of roles. As Chief Executive Officer, Judy is responsible for the overall success of AGF, overseeing the firm’s mission, vision and strategic direction.

In addition, as a member of the Board of Directors for AGF Management Limited and AGF Mutual Funds, she provides strategic leadership and vision that promotes AGF’s long-term growth.

Judy joined AGF in 1998 in the role of General Counsel and held several roles with increasing responsibility across the firm. In her most recent role as President and Head of Global Distribution, she oversaw the execution of strategic plans in support of business priorities and provided frequent counsel on business planning and direction for corporate initiatives. She was also responsible for the firm’s Private Client business.

Prior to being named President, Judy served as Executive Vice-President and Chief Operating Officer. In this role, she demonstrated leadership in promoting and supporting the firm’s operational effectiveness.

Before joining AGF, Judy specialized in regulatory and administrative law. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Toronto and earned her Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) from Queen’s University. She is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada and has been a member of the Canadian Bar Association since 1993. She received an Honorary Doctorate of Laws (LL.D) from the University of Toronto in 2019 and from Ontario Tech University in 2023. She is a successful graduate of the Competent Boards ESG Certificate Program.

Judy is Chair, Board of Directors, SIMA (formerly IFIC). And in 2015, Judy was named a Top 100 Hall of Fame Inductee by the Women’s Executive Network™ (WXN). This distinct honour is given to women who are nominated as one of Canada’s Most Powerful Women: Top 100 for a fourth time. Before being nominated in 2015, Judy was recognized by the WXN in 2012, 2013 and 2014. Judy was also honoured as one of the Women’s Post Top 20 Women of 2010.

Chief Financial Officer, AGF Management Limited

Ken Tsang was appointed Chief Financial Officer, AGF Management Limited in June 2023. In this role, he is responsible for the oversight of AGF’s financial management, corporate development, financial reporting and controls, accounting and taxation as well as the firm’s Investor Relations function. He is also a member of AGF’s Executive Management Team.

Ken brings expertise in wealth management, retail banking and capital markets, including private markets experience. Ken also has global experience working in established and start-up environments in Canada, the U.S. and Asia.

He was most recently the Chief Financial Officer, Head of Strategy & Business Development at Capital One Canada. Prior to this, Ken was a Vice President of Strategy at BMO Financial Group and was part of the Financial Institutions practice of McKinsey & Company and the Investment Banking Division of Credit Suisse First Boston.

Ken has an Honours Bachelor of Arts, Chartered Accountancy from the University of Waterloo and a Master of Business Administration from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. He is also a CFA® and Chartered Accountant.

Chief Operating Officer, AGF Management Limited

Chris Jackson is Chief Operating Officer at AGF Management Limited. In this role, he provides strategic leadership and vision to promote AGF’s operational effectiveness and long-term growth. Reporting to the CEO, he oversees operations, technology and fund administration for the firm, supporting AGF’s Canadian and global offices. He is also responsible for the firm’s Legal & Compliance, Product and Marketing & Communications teams, fostering collaboration and tighter synergies for all AGF’s strategic service, support, data and operational priorities.

Chris is also a member of the Executive Management Team where he assists in the development and execution of AGF’s strategy.

Chris previously served as Chief Information Officer and Senior Vice-President, IT & Operations at AGF Investments Inc. In this role, he was responsible for enhancing AGF’s operational performance and strengthening the information technology infrastructure to support the growing business.

Chris has more than 30 years of varied experience leading organizations in the financial services and technology industries. Prior to joining AGF, he managed the Canadian and technology operations for Belzberg Technologies, an equity and options trading software and electronic brokerage firm. He was also the President and CEO of IA Sciences, an investment operations outsourcer for separately managed wrap programs and held senior executive positions at Financial Models Corporation and Deloitte Consulting.

Chris has been a Board Member of Fundserv since April 2017 and was a coach with Oakville minor hockey and Halton Roller Hockey for over a decade.

He graduated with an Honours Bachelor of Mathematics from the University of Waterloo.

Head of AGF Capital Partners

Ash Lawrence is Head of AGF Capital Partners, AGF Management Limited’s diversified alternatives business with extensive capabilities across both private assets and alternative strategies. Ash is also a member of AGF’s Executive Management Team where he assists in the development and execution of AGF’s overall business strategy providing insight and vision that promotes AGF’s long-term growth.

Ash is a seasoned leader with over 20 years of experience and a wide breadth of expertise in alternative investments and portfolio management across sectors. As Head of AGF Capital Partners, Ash and his team identify tenured managers with demonstrated investment expertise in their fields, structuring partnerships to offer long-term strategic support, resources and capital to sustain and enhance the partners’ growth. Ash and his team are continually looking to diversify and expand the business’ capabilities and alternatives offerings to meet clients’ evolving needs.

Prior to joining AGF Investments, Ash spent 16 years with Brookfield Asset Management working in real estate investments and portfolio management in North America and Brazil, ultimately leading the Canadian real estate business. Ash also has experience in financing municipal infrastructure projects and developing infrastructure and transportation solutions for private and public sector clients.

Ash earned an MBA from the Rotman School of Management and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Waterloo.

Ash sits on numerous Boards and is a member of the America’s Executive Committee and a Global Governing Trustee for the Urban Land Institute.

Executive Chairman, AGF Management Limited

Blake C. Goldring is the Executive Chairman of AGF Management Limited (AGF). He first joined the firm in 1987 and held a series of senior positions before being appointed President in 1997, CEO in 2000, and CEO and Chairman in 2006.

As Executive Chairman of AGF, Goldring provides guidance and counsel to the CEO in setting the mission, vision and strategic direction for the firm. He also provides counsel to AGF’s Executive Management Team and plays a key role supporting the firm’s strategic relationships, while also providing leadership to AGF’s Board of Directors. 

Goldring believes in giving back to his community and supports initiatives related to the arts, education, health and the Canadian military. He has experience sitting on a number of private and not-for-profit boards.

He is Chair of the C.D. Howe Board of Directors, Past Vice-Chair and Past Director of SIMA (formerly the Investment Funds Institute of Canada) and Co-Chaired Toronto’s Economic and Cultural Recovery Advisory Group.

Goldring is also a past Director of The Canadian Film Centre and past Vice-Chair of the Toronto Symphony Orchestra. He is a lifelong supporter of the University of Toronto, including establishing the Goldring Student Centre and was also a past Global Chair, INSEAD Foundation. 

He is past Chair, Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre and funded the creation of the Blake & Belinda Goldring Department of Surgery at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre.

Additionally, Goldring was the “first ever” Honorary Colonel of the Canadian Army and a past Honorary Colonel, The Royal Regiment of Canada. He received the Meritorious Service Medal, Military Division in 2011. Goldring is also the founder of Canada Company:  Many Ways to Serve, a charitable organization created to connect business and community leaders with Canada’s military.

Goldring has received numerous honours in recognition of his personal and professional achievements, including both the King Charles III Coronation Medal in 2025 and the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Medal in 2012. He was named a Member of the Order of Ontario in 2024, a Member of the Order of Canada in 2018 and received honorary degrees from The University of Toronto, Victoria University (University of Toronto) and the Royal Military College.

Goldring holds an Honours BA in Economics from the University of Toronto and an MBA from INSEAD in France. He is also a member of the Toronto Society of Financial Analysts, a CFA® charterholder and a Fellow of the Institute of Canadian Bankers.

Chief Executive Officer, Martlet Asset Management LLC

Ms. Buchan is the Chief Executive Officer of Martlet Asset Management. Until August 1, 2018, she was CEO of PAAMCO.

She served as Director and Chairwoman of the Board for the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst Association (CAIA) until 2018. She also serves as a member of the Board of Directors for Globe Life Inc. (NYSE: GL), and IMMIX (NASDAQ:IMMX) as well as one private company, is a founding Angel for 100 Women in Finance, is a trustee for the Standards Board of Alternative Investments and serves on several endowment and foundation investment committees.

Corporate Director

Ian Clarke joined the GTAA in March 2017 as the Chief Financial Officer and previously was a GTAA Board Member for five years. In August 2020, Ian was given additional responsibilities for the Commercial and Business Partnerships and Strategy and Business Analytics. He retired from the GTAA on December 31, 2022.

Prior to this, Ian was Chief Financial Officer, Business Development at Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment Ltd. (“MLSE”) for 26 years. During his tenure at MLSE Ian was responsible for finance, administration, regulatory filings, collective bargaining negotiations, bond and loan restructuring. Led the financial due diligence and tax structuring of the Raptor and Air Canada Centre acquisition by Maple Leaf Gardens Ltd. Led and negotiated the acquisition of the Toronto FC expansion and the development of BMO Field, and the Maple Leaf Square project development.

Ian joined as a Board member of the Canadian Olympic Committee in 2021. Ian was previously a Board Member for the Toronto Foundation for nine years and a Board Member for ten years at St. Michael’s Hospital. Ian is a Chartered Accountant and holds an Institute of Corporate Directors, Director designation. Ian led 10 volunteer missions to New Orleans, Jamaica and Kenya, building 3 schools, 14 homes and raised over a $1 million.

President and Chief Executive Officer, Element Fleet Management

Laura Dottori-Attanasio is a highly accomplished figure in the business community, currently serving as the President and CEO of Element Fleet Management (Element), the largest publicly traded pure-play automotive fleet manager in the world.

Before joining Element, Ms. Dottori-Attanasio led the Personal and Business Banking division at one of Canada's largest financial institutions. Prior to this role, her strong leadership skills were showcased when she oversaw the institution's Risk Management activities as the Chief Risk Officer and the Global Corporate Banking and Trading Room Credit in the Capital Markets division.

Beyond her professional achievements, Ms. Dottori-Attanasio is deeply committed to making a positive impact on communities and creating brighter possibilities for everyone. She actively contributes to various organizations, currently serving as a board member for the Canadian Foundation for Physically Disabled Persons "A Seat at the Table," and co-chairing the Fundraising Committee for the Children's Aid Foundation of Canada.

Ms. Dottori-Attanasio’s efforts and dedication have been recognized by the Association of Fundraising Professionals, where she was honored with the Outstanding Volunteer Award. Additionally, she received the prestigious King Clancy Award from the Canadian Foundation for Physically Disabled Persons.

Ms. Dottori-Attanasio’s achievements have earned her a place in the WXN Top 100 ‘Most Powerful Women in Canada’ Hall of Fame, solidifying her status as an influential leader. Most recently, Ms. Dottori-Attanasio was conferred an honorary Doctor of Laws degree from Ontario Tech University in recognition of her outstanding leadership in Canada’s financial industry and legacy of professional accomplishments and community involvement.

President and Chief Operating Officer - SuccessFinder

Charles is a recognized transformational business leader and builder. Since 2018, Charles is President & COO of SuccessFinder, a leading HR predictive analytics SaaS platform based in Montreal. Prior to that, he has had his own strategic consulting firm and has built an impressive track record as an executive in the financial services industry.

Charles is the former President & CEO of Standard Life Canada and then, EVP Institutional markets and President & CEO Quebec for Manulife. Before joining Standard Life, he spent most of his career at National Bank of Canada leading their mutual fund division for 11 years as President & CEO. He started his career at RBC Dominion Securities as a successful investment advisor. He serves on several boards of directors, currently including Pomerleau Inc. and the CHU Sainte-Justine Foundation.

He is a recipient of several excellence awards, such as the “Top 40 under 40”, the Arista award and the Hermès Career Achievement award of Laval University, from which he graduated in 1994 in business & finance.

Cybele Negris is a tech CEO, serial entrepreneur, experienced corporate director, sought-after speaker, mentor, columnist and a Hall of Fame inductee of Canada’s Top 100 Most Powerful Women.

She is CEO and Co-Founder of Webnames.ca, Canada’s original .CA Registrar and Webnames Corporate, a leader in domain name portfolio management and security for corporations and government.

Cybele currently serves on the boards of several leading Canadian businesses, not-for-profits and institutions – including the Royal Canadian Mint – and brings insights gained from her extensive business and governance experience.

She was named to the Women’s Executive Network (WXN) Canada's Top 100 Most Powerful Women list four times and the PROFIT W100 list of Canada's Top Female Entrepreneurs for nine consecutive years. She has also been recognized as one of Business In Vancouver’s Influential Women in Business and Top 40 Under 40.

President and CEO, Realstar Group

G. Wayne Squibb is the co-founder of Realstar Group and has been CEO since 1983.

One of the leading real estate investment and management organizations in Canada, Realstar Group is focused on strategic investing in the multi-unit residential rental, hospitality, and sports/entertainment sectors in Canada and the United Kingdom.

The company holds the Canadian master franchise rights to the Days Inn, Motel 6 and Studio 6 hotel brands and previously owned and operated Delta Hotels and Resorts.

Mr. Squibb has for many years been an active community minded citizen serving on not-for-profit and corporate boards.
