What if I have more than one dealer rep code?

    1. Copy and paste the following statement:
"I applied for an AGF Advisor site password. My dealer rep code is _________. My other sales codes are: _________. Please link these under that original User ID and Password."
    2. Email this statement to tiger@agf.com. Within 48 hours, AGF Client Services will confirm that all your rep codes are linked with one User ID and Password.

    Questions About Logging In

If I apply for an advisor Password when will I receive it?

AGF will email you a User ID and Password within 24 hours.

My User ID and Password don't work. What can I do?

You may have accidentally typed in the wrong information. Please remember that User IDs and Passwords are case sensitive. If you are unable to log in after three attempts, you will be prompted to answer the secret question you chose the first time you logged in (use the drop down menu to select your secret question). When you answer correctly, AGF will create a new password for you. That password will appear on the screen and will also be sent to you by email, if we have your address on file or by mail.

What do I do if I've forgotten my User ID or Password?

If you have your User ID but have only forgotten your password, then click on the "Forgot Password?" button and you will be prompted with your secret question. When you answer correctly, AGF will create a temporary password for you. That password will appear on the screen and will also be sent to you by email, if we have your address on file. When you login using the temporary password, you will be prompted to change the temporary password to something more meaningful to you.

If you have forgotten your User ID, please contact AGF Client Services through the Contact Us section of our website, or at 1-800-268-8583 or 905-214-8203.

What if I've forgotten the answer to my secret question?

We advise you to contact AGF Client Services by accessing the Contact Us section of our website or at 1-800-268-8583 or 905-214-8203.

I am a Branch Administrator - can I get one User ID and Password for all my reps?

For security reasons, advisors must register individually.

I am a Head Office Administrator - can I get one User ID and Password for all my reps?

Yes, and we encourage you to do so. AGF keeps an updated head office contact list on file. When an administrator applies for access, AGF references this list before distributing a password. If there is any uncertainty, AGF will immediately contact a senior head office colleague and verify this information. Please note that each dealer will only receive one head office User ID.

What if I join a new firm and switch rep codes?

When you switch firms, access to your old codes will be terminated. For security reasons advisors must re-apply.

Who should I contact if AGFadvisor.com is down or if I need help?

We advise you to contact AGF Client Services by accessing the Contact Us section of our website or by calling 1-800-268-8583 or 905-214-8203. A representative can walk you through most of your problems.

    Questions About Security

    How secure is my information?

At AGF, we place the utmost importance on the security of your personal and financial information. Our site uses the latest technologies and best practices to protect your privacy and ensure your security.

What are the minimum requirements for security settings?

To log in to view your account information, you must have a browser running 128-bit encryption. Click here to upgrade to 128-bit encryption.

What if someone else learns my User ID or Password?

You need both your User ID and your Password to log in. If someone learns your password, you should immediately change it. Just click on the "Change Password" button on the log in page and follow the prompts. The password reset takes effect immediately upon completion. Even if no one learns your password, you should change it on a regular basis for security reasons.
