Niall Dineen is a Vice-President and Portfolio Manager for AGF Funds Inc. He became a Portfolio Manager on AGF Canadian Balanced Value Fund* and AGF Canadian Value Fund** in April 2008.

Niall was recruited from university to Dublin-based AGF International Advisors Company Limited (AGFIA) in 1999 and worked as an investment analyst until joining AGF Funds Inc. in January 2008.

He has covered a range of sectors across the globe, ranging from resources to financials and gained on-the-ground expertise of Asian equities by working in AGF’s Singapore office.

Niall has a Masters in Business Studies (Finance) and a Bachelor of Commerce degree from University College Dublin. He is a member of the CFA Institute and the UK Society of Investment Professionals.

Philosophy:
Niall uses a bottom-up value style of management. His approach to asset allocation and stock selection helps reduce risk and enhance portfolio performance.
