As an equity portfolio manager, Caterina Prato co-manages AGF Canada Class, AGF Canadian Stock Fund and AGF Canadian Stock Class alongside Martin Hubbes. She also co-manages AGF Canadian Small Cap Fund with industry veteran Bob Farquharson. Caterina joined AGF in 2004. Her investment approach is founded on investing in companies that are expected to have strong long-term growth and are advantageously priced.

An experienced investment professional, Caterina began her career in 1997 as an investment analyst at a leading Canadian investment management company. She later joined a large international insurance company’s investment team as an Assistant Vice-President focusing on North American equities.

Caterina earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Toronto and an MBA from the Rotman School of Business at the University of Toronto. She is a CFA charterholder and a member of the Toronto CFA Society.
