Tristan Sones is a key member of the award-winning AGF fixed-income team. He is lead Portfolio Manager for AGF Global High Yield Bond Fund, AGF Canadian High Yield Bond Fund and AGF Canadian Bond Fund. In addition, Tristan has co-management responsibilities for several other fixed-income mandates including AGF Global Government Bond Fund. He joined AGF in 1993 and has been a part of the fixed-income team since 1996.

The fixed-income team operates with a strong culture of team dynamics that enables each member to leverage their collective talents and strengths. While Tristan is a fixed-income generalist, he has a particular focus on credit, including global investment grade and non-investment grade debt, as well as emerging market debt.

Tristan is a seasoned fixed-income manager with more than 16 years of industry experience that has encompassed all aspects of the fixed-income asset class spectrum. This experience has proved invaluable in assessing the macro economic landscape as well as the inter-dependencies of capital markets.

Tristan earned an Honours BA in mathematics from the University of Waterloo. He is a CFA charterholder and a member of the Toronto CFA Society.
