Philosophy:
Stephen’s conservative growth investment philosophy combines a top-down perspective with bottom-up fundamental research. His 3C process focuses on three criteria – country, company and control. The team first identifies countries that meet their valuation and growth criteria. In those countries, they locate undervalued companies whose growth prospects have yet to be recognized by the market. Controls are then applied at the country, company and portfolio levels to help avoid volatile markets, adjust security weightings and benefit from broad sector and geographic diversification.
