Patricia Perez-Coutts is the lead Portfolio Manager for the award-winning AGF Emerging Markets Fund. Patricia's investment approach is focused on finding sound businesses that are mispriced by the market.

Under Patricia's leadership, the AGF Emerging Markets Fund was honoured by the Canadian Investment Awards (Emerging Markets Equity Fund Award) in 2009, 2007, 2006 and 2005. Patricia joined AGF in 2001 as Portfolio Manager of AGF Latin America Fund and in 2002 she assumed responsibility for AGF India Fund and AGF Emerging Markets Value Fund. In 2003 the three Funds were merged into the AGF Emerging Markets Fund.

Patricia began her career in 1986 as an economist for Peru's Institute of Foreign Trade and has held investment positions including Vice-President of research for a Canadian private merchant bank and VP and Portfolio Manager for a major Canadian investment management firm. As such, she has built considerable expertise in Latin America.

Patricia earned an Honours BA in Economics from Pontificia Universidad Catolica del Peru and a BA in Mathematics for Commerce at York University. Patricia is also a CFA charterholder.
