Coulter Wright was named Portfolio Manager for AGF Canadian Growth Equity Fund in February 2008. In his new role, Coulter works closely with Bob Farquharson, one of Canada’s leading investment managers.
Coulter joined the AGF North American equities team in 2002 as an analyst, conducting fundamental analysis of companies in the energy sector. In 2006, Coulter was promoted to Associate Portfolio Manager, providing a supporting role for AGF American Growth Class and AGF Special U.S. Class. This role involved research on a generalist level, covering all sectors, as well as continuous portfolio monitoring, idea generation and implementation. Coulter also acts as Associate Portfolio Manager of AGF Global Technology Class. Prior to joining AGF, Coulter worked for the environmental charity arm of a major Canadian company. Coulter holds an MBA in Finance from the Rotterdam School of Management (Netherlands) and a BBA from the University of New Mexico. He is a member of the Toronto CFA Society.
