The results of the 2014 AGF Investor Perspectives Survey were revealing. We learned that many Canadians are not saving enough for their retirement and lack knowledge and involvement when it comes to investing. However, what is encouraging is that investors recognize these as important issues and want to address them.
Check out each of the five sections above to learn more about how Canadians think about their investments and what steps they are taking to reach their financial goals.
The 2014 AGF Investor Perspectives Survey was conducted by Nielsen from February 11 to 25, 2014 using an online methodology. A total of 1,001 adult Canadians over the age of 35 and not retired with at least $25,000 in investable assets were surveyed. Results were weighted according to age and gender within region to ensure a representative sample of the population.
In our 2016 Investor Survey and for our 2017 RRSP Resource Centre we take a two track approach - Accumulation and Decumulation - to present insights and strategies for both phases of successful retirement planning.
