The American Growth Fund (AGF) turns 50 on Wednesday April 18, 2007 and Chairman and CEO Blake C. Goldring along with other senior executives and special guests will kick off the anniversary celebrations by opening the markets at the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX) that morning.
In 1957, co-founders C. Warren Goldring and Allan Manford launched the American Growth Fund and set out to build a company focused on clients and driven by superior investment management. Over the past 50 years, investors have been able to choose from a variety of innovative AGF financial products from a company that has launched market firsts.
Today, AGF remains a proudly independent Canadian-based company employing over 800 people with subsidiaries around the world. AGF is also a strong supporter of the community actively partnering with groups such as the WWF-Canada, the United Way and the Toronto Film Festival and Canadian Film Centre.
