Greg Henderson was appointed Chief Financial Officer of AGF Management Limited in October 2004. AGF Management Ltd. is a premier, publicly-traded global investment management firm based in Canada with offices around the world.
A Chartered Accountant, he has an extensive background in financial and regulatory reporting and financial management as well as operations.
As Chief Financial Officer, Greg oversees the financial management and reporting of the AGF Group of Companies, as well as the Information Technology Group. During his tenure, he has been on the frontlines of AGF’s impressive growth.
Greg played an important role in the company’s recent growth. Revenues in 2007 rose 28.5 per cent to $780.3 million and net income in 2007 increased by 58.6 per cent to $178.7 million.
In addition, since 2004, Greg has played an instrumental role in rationalizing the AGF Group of Companies with his involvement in the sale of Unisen in 2005, Investmaster in 2007 and the acquisition of Highstreet in 2006.
Prior to joining AGF, Greg was Vice-President, Group Controller at Rogers Communications, where he was responsible for all accounting and reporting functions across the Rogers Group of Companies. Before that, he was Vice-President, Financial Reporting at Rogers Wireless Communications and later was appointed Vice-President, Controller of the wireless company. Prior to his tenure at Rogers, he was a Senior Manager with KPMG.
Greg holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Toronto and is a member of the Alberta and Ontario Institutes of Chartered Accountants. He is a past treasurer at Progress Place, a community-based organization that deals with mental health recovery.
An avid hockey player, Greg and his wife Roz reside in Campbellville. |
