Industry Veteran Robert J. Bogart to Join Executive Team

AGF Management Limited today announced the appointment of industry veteran Robert J. Bogart to the position of Senior Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

Mr. Bogart is a seasoned, highly respected professional who joins AGF from a leading investment management firm, where for the past 17 years he has served as a senior finance executive for both its U.S. and Canadian operations. Mr. Bogart was CFO for the firm's Canadian operations from 1997 to 2002. His most recent role was that of Senior Vice-President of Finance, leading the Corporate Decision Support group in Boston.

"We are pleased to have someone of Bob's calibre join AGF. He has a wealth of knowledge and extensive experience in the industry in both Canada and the United States that spans nearly 30 years," said Mr. Goldring.

A graduate of the University of Massachusetts, Mr. Bogart began his career in 1983 and has held progressively senior tax and finance positions within the financial services industry. Prior to his employment in the investment management industry, he was a senior tax manager with a large public accounting firm where he achieved his Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation.
